Dr. Heather Hunter
Dr. Hunter began her academic career at Central State University, where she earned a degree in Marketing and Management and served as Vice President of the Delta Kappa Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. — early evidence of the leadership and people-first instincts she now brings into the treatment room every day.
Clinically, Dr. Hunter takes a comprehensive, hands-on approach to musculoskeletal health, combining chiropractic adjustment with physical therapy techniques to build treatment plans that address the root cause of pain — not just the symptoms. She is certified in the Webster Technique, a specialized approach supporting pelvic balance and nervous system function during pregnancy, and has particular expertise guiding expectant mothers through a comfortable, active pregnancy as well as caring for newborns and infants through their earliest developmental stages.
As a certified Physical Therapy provider, Dr. Hunter brings a well-rounded perspective to recovery, treating sports-related injuries — from acute strains and sprains to overuse injuries in runners, weekend athletes, and youth sports participants — as well as chronic musculoskeletal conditions like low back pain, disc issues, sciatica, and joint dysfunction across all age groups. Her approach combines manual adjusting with patient education, helping patients understand their bodies and their path to lasting relief.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Hunter is deeply engaged in her community, contributing both her professional expertise and personal passion for service. She is an active member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
A mother of three, Dr. Hunter brings both professional knowledge and personal experience to her practice, creating compassionate, individualized care plans that empower patients to achieve optimal health and wellness.

Candice focuses on helping clients find relief through thoughtful, targeted bodywork. A graduate of the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, she specializes in deep tissue, cupping, and medical massage. She approaches the body as a connected system — looking at how muscles, joints, and movement patterns work together, rather than treating areas in isolation.
Clients who are dealing with pain that seems to “move around” or keep coming back often appreciate her approach. Candice works to connect the dots between different areas of the body, helping improve overall movement and reduce strain rather than just chasing one tight spot.
